Flexibility
An obvious Luxury Travel Hack, but one, people don’t utilise. If you have flexibility use it. Better yet couple it with other Luxury Travel Hacking skills such as utilising splitting costs or different types of travel to really give you bang for your buck.
These are our current tips for utilising flexibility to get more bang for our buck:
- Check different dates
- Check different locations
- Check different airports and flights
- Utilising stopovers & layovers
- Utilising carry on luggage only
Spend some time checking out all of these options above to minimise costs. This could simply be looking at slightly different dates or locations. Otherwise if you love hunting for a deal check out different airport and flight options for departure or arrival. An example of this is check all airports in New York to see if there are cheaper options. You will be amazed how much you can save.
Also, incorporating a layover or stopover into your flexible travel is another great way of experiencing more. We utilise the layover with every opportunity we get.
